Williamson Water Advisory conducted physical investigations, monitoring and an extensive study that underpinned the 17 applications mentioned in this article. The wetland mentioned is important, but the reason it exists is because it sits on a thick sequences of iron pans and peaty sediments, which isolate it at the surface from the targeted aquifer some 70-110 m below the surface.
