WWLA staff member Hagen Robertson joined Far North District Council staff on Monument Hill to help the students from Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Kaikohe with a project about water supply infrastructure in Kaikohe. Hagen is describing what efforts are required into the investigation, design, construction and testing of a municipal water supply bore, such as the one currently under construction on Monument Hill.
While on site we had the pleasure of hearing Matua James from Kura, kōrero about the history of Monument Hill and the surrounding areas.
