WWLA Welcomes Barbara Tasca

WWLA would like to welcome Barbara Tasca to the Kumeu office.

Barbara joined WWLA in September 2025 as a Hydrologist. She holds a MSc in Environmental Physics, a BA in Environmental Engineering and Post grad in Urban Development. Interestingly, Barbara is our first team member from South America.

Originally from Brazil, Barbara moved to New Zealand in 2022 to study English for only six months but was so captivated by the country that she decided to make it her home and is now a New Zealand resident.

Barbara has over eight years of professional experience in environmental monitoring and compliance, remote sensing, GIS applications, and hydrological studies in Brazil. Additionally, she has several years of experience in research, particularly on areas of geostatistical analysis of pollutants and meteorological variables, wetlands assessment, and forensic spatiotemporal analysis of environmental regulatory issues.
