WWLA were commissioned to develop and calibration a MODFLOW, MT3DMS and MODPATH models for flow, nitrate-N and tritium simulation of the groundwater Lake Taupo and Lake Ohakuri. Work included drilling supervision and lithological logging, Childs Test analysis of groundwater redox status, numerical model construction, calibration and prediction, groundwater model integration with a SOURCE surface water model, geospatial data analysis and mapping, and reporting to support a resource consent application.
