Solar Farm Consenting
Project Overview
WWLA is involved in a range of solar farm consenting projects for various clients across New Zealand. Notably, these projects include Greytown Solar Farm which was the first solar farm project to be direct referred to the Environment Court, and The Point Solar Farm which is one of the largest solar farm projects proposed in New Zealand. The primary goal is to manage the planning and regulatory approval process to enable the development of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure.
Technical Solutions
Key services include undertaking preliminary planning assessments, preparing resource consent applications (including preparing of expert evidence and attendance at hearings), project management and iwi and stakeholder engagement.
