Project Overview

On behalf of the Te Tai Tokerau Water Trust, the objective was to secure resource consent for the Otawere Water Storage Reservoir. This reservoir was a key component of the larger Mid-North Water Storage Scheme.

Technical Solutions

The application was successfully navigated through a new legislative pathway, making it one of the first projects to be processed under the Covid-19 Recovery (Fast-track Consenting) Act.

Client

The project concluded successfully with WWLA obtaining the necessary resource consent from the Northland Regional Council, fully authorising the water storage reservoir.
