Remote Sensing Scientist

Sadhvi is a Remote Sensing Scientist with an MSc from the University of Leeds (UK) and six years of professional experience at Airbus (UK). She joined WWLA in Nov 2020 having submitted her PhD thesis, on hyperspectral analysis of seaweeds and utilizing unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to discriminate submerged seaweed species, at AUT. Her experience includes working with various satellite / UAV based multispectral and Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) remote sensing data for various offshore and onshore applications, product training and GIS consultancy. She has also been a part of European Space Agency’s (ESA) Services and Applications for Emergency Response (SAFER) team supporting natural disaster mapping.
