Senior Planner

Ben is a Senior Planner. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Pepperdine University (California) and a Master of Environmental Legal Studies (Honours) from Auckland University. Ben has approximately 14 years' experience in natural resource planning and policy development and specialises in water quality and quantity management under the Resource Management Act 1991. Ben helped lead the development of the Regional Policy Statement for Northland 2017 and the Proposed Regional Plan for Northland, obtained water permits, discharge permits and land use consents to enable a range of important projects, and processed resource consent applications on behalf of council.
