Graduate Civil and Environmental Engineer

Benji completed his studies at the University of Auckland in late 2025, and will graduate with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons). Benji is a familiar colleague to staff having been a summer intern since 2022, and has now joined WWLA in a fulltime role.

Benji has technical experience installing and analysing data from hydrological monitoring instruments, both for surface water, wetland and groundwater applications. , and is He is frequently in the field flow gauging or installing piezometers. Earlier in 2025, Benji was dispatched to a remote island in Fiji to perform flow gauging and training of local technicals for a hydropower development. As a keen graduate, he is always open to learning new things and develop his skills across the multi-disciplinary teams. WWLA are also keen to utilise Benji’s civil engineering expertise in design of water intake and pumping structures.

In his spare time Benji plays Golf, Football and goes to the Gym, he also enjoys attending music gigs
