Planner

Laila is a Planner at WWLA.

Laila holds a Bachelor of Urban Planning (1st Class Hons.) from the University of Auckland and has been involved with large-scale infrastructure consenting projects since 2018, including preparing Notice of Requirements, Outline Plans and Assessments of Environmental Effects (AEE) Reports. Laila also has experience providing policy advice and preparing submissions for a range of clients on proposed plan changes, plan reviews and national policy statements.

Laila views planning as being ultimately about problem-solving and she gets satisfaction from helping clients achieve their project goals in a timely and efficient manner.

Outside of work, Laila enjoys going to the beach, volunteering as a firefighter and playing drums.
