Raffe Mahon

Graduate Contaminated Land Scientist

Raffe joined the WWLA team in October 2024 as a Graduate Contaminated Land Scientist.

Raffe has a Bachelor of Science in Geography and Environmental Management from the University of Otago.

Through his academic experience, he gained knowledge in environmental processes and management techniques, along with practical skills such as sediment sampling, flow gauging, river and coastal profiling, GIS mapping and data analysis.

He is a demonstrable keen learner and hard worker who is always looking to develop his skills. Raffe enjoys working as a team to solve problems and using his practical skills both in the field and behind the desk.

Outside of work, Raffe enjoys spending his time in the outdoors, usually surfing, fishing, diving or hiking.
