New Starter We are proud to announce that Emily Diack has recently joined WWA as a Graduate Water Resource Scientist. Emily completed her MSc studies at Otago University in December 2015 and started with us not long afterwards on a remote contract based in Christchurch initially. In April 2016, Emily took up a permanent role and relocated to Auckland. Emily says "it is exciting being in the office with so much happening" and contrary to popular belief is "loving living in Auckland". Since starting with WWA, Emily has spent a week in a remote part of Fiji measuring spring flows, and enjoyed day trips to the Far North and eastern Kaipara Harbour looking at water supplies for new avocado developments. At the current time, Emily's primary commitment is a large catchment flow and water quality project in the Hawkes Bay.
